AIMMS Documentation¶
Welcome to the documentation for AIMMS¶
(Artificial Intelligent Movie Management System)
AIMMS v1.0.0 (StorM) Storyboard Management Software initial launch is now underway, join Patreon (Free Tier) to get access to the downloads.
A series of short video tutorials are available.
AIMMS is still evolving, as such this site will be a work-in-progress

"Visual storyboarding of my AI short videos was something I needed after running into "shot tracking overwhelm" using only a csv. So, I built AIMMS initially for myself but was soon being asked for access to it. This is the result of that." - Mark
AIMMS v1.0 (StorM)¶
AIMMS version 1.0 (StorM) is a passive storyboard management system designed for tracking image and video clips, shot metadata, assets, and workflows used in the creation of AI-generated short films.
AIMMS runs locally, is cross-platform (Windows, Linux), and does not require a GPU. It is suitable for both small and large projects (tested up to 21,000 takes across 600 shots).
Future versions may integrate directly with ComfyUI via API and may include optional advanced LLM-assisted prompting and batch rendering features.
Additional tools, such as the AIMMS migration tool, are available to assist with onboarding existing media sets.

Tutorials, walkthroughs, and feature discussions will be published on the YouTube channel - @markdkberry

Licensing¶
-
A one-time 30-day trial is included as part of the download. After that a license will need to be purchased for use.
-
A full license gives you perpetual license for v1.x and all versions of 1.x. Future versions 2.x onward will be paid upgrades. This is because version 2.x will include API and additional services requiring a major coding period (planned for > 2027 at earliest). Version 1.x will include patches, minor updates and upgrades to improve existing functionality.
Support¶
-
AIMMS is not sold with guaranteed support, live assistance, or response-time commitments.
-
Bug reports, issues, and feature suggestions can be submitted via GitHub Issues
Please note:
- Issues are reviewed and addressed at the developer’s discretion
- Responses and fixes are provided when time permits
- Submitting an issue does not guarantee a response or resolution
This approach allows AIMMS to remain a focused, independently developed tool rather than a subscription-based service.
